The historic former market town of Westerham is situated in the western corner of Kent, close to its border with Surrey, almost midway between the larger towns of Sevenoaks and Oxted. Click here for a location map.
Westerham is full of charm, character and historical interest. Sir Winston Churchill had his country home at nearby Chartwell, and General Wolfe has his childhood home at Quebec House.

Set in an area designated as an "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty", the town is on the doorstep of some of the regions most glorious countryside, with footpaths and bridleways over rolling hills with some truly breath-taking views.
Much of the countryside surrounding the town is still owned by the Squerryes Estate including the vineyards to the north of the town, with National Trust land to the south, leading to Toys Hill to the south east. The beautiful 17th Century manor house of Squerryes Court sits just to the south west of the town centre, and can be visited between April and September.
The town has a number of excellent sporting and leisure facilities including its own fitness centre and a number of nearby golf clubs including the highly acclaimed Westerham Golf Club.
Communications are excellent:the M25 is a short drive away with junctions 5 and 6 providing easy access to the national motorway network, Gatwick, Heathrow and the Channel Tunnel. Fast and frequent train services are available from Sevenoaks and Oxted to London Bridge, Charing Cross, Waterloo East and Victoria taking approximately 30- 40 minutes.
The local area is well served by a selection of fine schools in both the private and public sectors, including Westerham's own Churchill Primary School pre-school and nursery, boys and girls grammar schools in Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells, and the independent schools of Sevenoaks, Tonbridge and Combe Bank (girls) in Sundridge.
